Every piece of the blessed hair and beard of our Master, the Prophet (sall-Allahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) is called “Lihya ash-sharîf” that is “Sakal ash-sharîf”. Sometimes our beloved Prophet (‘alaihissalâtu wassalâm) would grow His blessed hair, and sometimes He would have His hair cut and shortened. He had private barbers in His service. He kept His blessed moustache trimmed.
